Security Clearance Information - Martin County

Student Teaching Clearance Process

To receive a clearance letter to student teach in Martin County School District you must first successfully pass a background and drug test.

  1. Visit www.fieldprintflorida.com to register for a fingerprinting appointment.
    1. Click on the “Schedule an Appointment” button.
    2. Enter an email address under “New Users/Sign Up” and click the “Sign Up” button. Follow the instructions for creating a Password and Security Question and then click “Sign Up and Continue”.
    3. Select “I know my Fieldprint Code” and enter the code given to you by your employer/service provider or select “Enter Fieldprint Code” from the drop-down menu and enter the code

    4. Enter the contact and demographic information required by the FBI and schedule a fingerprint appointment at the location of your choosing.
    5. At the end of the process, print the Confirmation Page. Take the Confirmation Page with you to your fingerprint appointment, along with two forms of identification.

  2. To pay for the drug test contact the MCSD Fingerprinting Specialist at 772-219-1200 ext. 30245 and provide your complete name, address, and e-mail.
    1. Pay online invoice for $6 dollars for background check retention fee and $35 for drug test (Invoice will be e-mailed by PNC for a total of $41).
  3. Once the payment is received you will receive an e-mail with a LabCorp drug test form so you can complete the drug test.
  4. You will be notified via email once your background check clearance letter is available to be picked up at our District office.
  5. You will receive an ID badge when you arrive to pick up your letter.

  10. Background check clearance letter will be sent by e-mail after background check is clear.
