The only community college journal that is international in scope and purpose, Community College Journal of Research and Practice is published twelve times per volume year. The journal is a multidisciplinary forum for researchers and practitioners in higher education and the behavioral and social sciences. It promotes an increased awareness of community college issues by providing an exchange of ideas, research, and empirically tested educational innovations.
Valerie C. Bryan, Ed.D., has been appointed the Charles Stewart Mott Eminent Scholar in Community Education in the College of Education at Florida Atlantic University. Bryan will be providing leadership and scholarship for community education on local, state, national, and international levels.
Florida Atlantic University has named Tammy L. Ferguson, Ed.D., principal/director of Alexander D. Henderson University School and FAU High School. Ferguson will be responsible for students in grades K-12, while managing facilities and programs for two university schools.
