Bullying and Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders Focus Groups
The FAU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) will be hosting a series of focus groups examining bullying and its impact on students with autism. We will have a group in Boca Raton, one in northern Palm Beach County and another in the Port St. Lucie area. We will have groups for middle and high school students and companion focus group sessions for their parents. Each group will be limited to no more than 7 students. These groups will take about two hours to complete. The purpose of the groups is to improve our CARD efforts to combat bullying and for scholarly research. A Target gift card will be provided to each participant at the conclusion of the focus group.
If your child has been bullied at school or in relation to school, please consider participating in one of these groups, click here to read more.
